Ryan is in the process of training Vincent, Juliet and Gabriel’s stolen son, into a weapon against the Shamar. His scientists have taken stem cells from Vincent and are working on a secret project which Ryan thinks will make him invincible. While meeting with some of these scientists at a café in Europe, Nicole spots Ryan whose whereabouts have been unknown to the Shamar for five years.
Nicole goes to Rahab, whom she has not seen in several years, to tell him about Ryan. She asks him to help her track and capture Ryan, but he refuses unless she tells Juliet and Gabriel first. Nicole and Rahab meet with Juliet and Gabriel. Juliet asks Nicole to do surveillance on Ryan with Kayla and not Rahab. Rahab lies to Nicole and tells her Juliet changed her mind and he is to go with her. They discover Ryan is holding a small Shamar boy captive and is making him fight others as a white wolf on the days of the full moon. When trying to sneak away, Nicole and Rahab fall into a pit and are captured. Nicole manages to trick the guards and they escape but not before they rescue the child they saw earlier.
Gabriel and Juliet discover the imaginary friend Secret has been talking to all these years is her thought to be dead brother named Vincent. Like Gabriel and Juliet, they can speak to each other through a shared mental link. Rahab and Nicole return Vincent to Juliet and Gabriel. They explain the details of how they found Ryan and what he was forcing Vincent to do. Vincent has been abused by Ryan and is leery of his biological family except for Secret.
Ryan’s scientists manufacture a serum that give Amoveo exceptional strength and weans them off the need for blood. With this newfound knowledge, Ryan visits Akan, and they devise a plan to slaughter all of the Shamar at the yearly Assembly.
Juliet and Gabriel discover what Ryan and Akan are doing and with the rest of the Shamar prepare for an eminent attack. During the Assembly, they are prepared for battle and defeat Ryan’s mutated army. Juliet kills Ryan. Secret, Vincent, and Michael track down Akan and kill him.
